More Painting fun!!

Sophia and Uncle Randy

We had Uncle Randy over for a game night. Sophia really loves spending time with Randy. When she found out he was coming, she sat by the window and waited for his arrival!

Washing dishes...

Sophia loves to help around the house. She is great at washing dishes, sweeping, and the general wiping up of messes she makes.

We all have spring fever, so the wagon goes around the livingroom

The painting fun begins...

Sophia loves painting. You will see that the progression of the painting ends up turning her hair blue. She loves to paint her hands and then make hand prints on the page. The prints also ended up on the wall.

Mom's 37th Birthday Party!

Melissa threw me a surprise party on my 37th birthday. I had no idea this was coming. We had a lovely evening!

Dinner with sweet little Carina

Sophia just loves her friend Carina. Here they are having a little dinner.

She likes it hot!

Sophia tried hot sauce for the first time after seeing dad enjoy it. She likes it!

The big inflatable slide at the school carnival.

The inflatable bouncy castle

At the school carnival, Sophia had her first experience in a bouncer. She loved it until she bonked heads with another toddler. Soon after we got her out, the whole thing deflated on all the kids. good thing we had her out, with Sophia's worry wart trait, she would never go in one of these again!

Rule number one for having a toddler....

NEVER tell them about cupcakes at an event unless they can have them immediately upon arrival. I made the mistake of telling Sophia that there was a cake walk at this school carnival. She hounded me to go to the cake walk the minute we got there. Once we finally went to the cake walk, she wanted nothing to do with the cake walk. She threw a HUGE tantrum on the floor, flailing her limbs and banging her head....I broke the second rule for toddlers...I gave in to the tantrum and bought her a cup cake. Argh!
