Sophia greatly enjoyed her very first swimming pool experience today. I feel badly that I did not introduce swimming to her earlier, but that is how it goes. She loved being pulled around in her "floatie". She learned a few tricks of the trade at the pool regarding ones mouth filling with water. All in all, a fun day!!

Back porch chalk art

Sophia caught a bit of warm sun off our back porch in mid January. She loves getting out the chalk and coloring the cement as well as the indoor furniture. I made the mistake of leaving some chalk out and she drew on the wood side table and my couch! All in the name of art!

Robot dancing with Dad!

A nightly tradition for Sophia and Dad is to turn up the "robot" music and dance! Sophia likes the lights on low to do this.

A few dinner dates with Cousin Avery!

Sophia and Avery love to spend time together. Avery is quite easy going. Sophia on the other hand can be a bit "sensitive" at times. Avery is patient with her, and all in all they have fun.

The Old Man Snowman

Sophia, mom, and dad, had fun creating these two snowmen. The first turned out as a grandpa snowman. Once dad came out to help, a huge pirate snowman was made!

Spring Fever in January!

Dad took these photos of Sophia in our driveway. It was just warm enough to go for a spin. Sophia is not quite up on pedaling her tricycle.
