EASTER DAY

Easter was fabulous. We celebrated at our house with Melissa, Leif, Avery, David, Kathy, Marty, Vonnie, Mona, Tim, Cheryl, Mike, Emma, Dean, and us...great brunch food and fun!

Easter Morning Egg hunt!

Sophia braved the cool air in her jammies and wizard hat (lives with it on) to find her Easter basket and eggs! She has a sugar nose, just like mom!

Easter Egg Hunt!

We braved the masses of people to go to the 40,000 egg- egg hunt. There was cookied decorating, face painting, and bouncers and giant slides. The egg hunt was more like the mob. Sophia met the Easter Bunny, tried to give him her favorite ribbon and a hi-5. We had fun all-in-all!

Yes, that is right. Journey Church set out 40K eggs for the kids to find. As you can imagine traffic to this hunt was crazy! It was a fun morning anyways!

I am surprised at how still Sophia sat for the face painting. A few minutes after it was done, mommy accidentally kissed the wet butterfly..

This was an interesting time...I am so happy that none of the dye made its way anywhere it was not intended to go. Daddy made some great Elmo Eggs.

Sophia and Uncle Randy

We had Uncle Randy over for a game night. Sophia really loves spending time with Randy. When she found out he was coming, she sat by the window and waited for his arrival!

Sophia loves to help around the house. She is great at washing dishes, sweeping, and the general wiping up of messes she makes.
